If you're one of our customers within Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole, you'll need to dial the 01202 area code when making local calls from 1 November 2012. After this date, if you leave out the area code when dialling locally, you'll hear a free message telling you to include it when you redial.

This has been confirmed by Ofcom, and has been designed to safeguard the future supply of landline telephone numbers within these areas, and to avoid the need to change existing phone numbers. For further information, please visit Ofcom's website.
