Micro renewable energy
We can make it easier for you to future-proof your home. The financial case for producing your own low carbon home energy has just got so much better.
Our heritage in renewable electricity spans over 50 years. From developing the first hydro generation sites to a renewable capacity today of more than 1500MW. We’re now the UK’s leading generator of electricity from renewable sources1.
In line with the latest government incentives2, we’ve launched an exciting new solar energy package letting you take advantage of the most attractive deal ever for generating your own home energy.
Take control. Be rewarded
There are grants of up to £2,5003 available to reduce installation costs and the tariff we pay you for generating electricity has gone up considerably. This means that micro-renewable systems are now cheaper than ever to install and the income you can generate is more than ever.

We’re making it easier and more financially attractive for you to future-proof your home. We’re not only the UK’s leading generator of electricity from renewable sources, we’re also the UK’s biggest electrical contractor4 waiting to help you and your family get in on the act.
